2015 Scholarships

The Armstrong Foundation is sponsoring a block of four-year college scholarships in 2015 for sons and daughters of Armstrong employees. Scholarships will be awarded through the National Merit Scholarship competitions.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Students in their junior year (next-to-last year) of high school who:

  • are the sons and daughters of regular full-time, regular part-time U.S. employees, expatriates, or retirees of Armstrong and its domestic subsidiaries, and
  • will complete secondary school and enter an accredited college or junior college as a full-time student in the United States in 2015.

REQUIREMENTS:

Students must:

  • take the PSAT/NMSQT in their junior year of high school (dates are October 16 and 19, 2013), and
  • complete the 2015 Armstrong Scholarship Program Entry Form by February 28, 2014, using either of these methods

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIPS:

  • $2,500 per year for up to four years or until baccalaureate degree requirements are completed, whichever occurs first

SELECTION OF WINNERS:

The scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of scholastic aptitude, leadership, and good citizenship as determined by testing and other procedures established by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation in March 2015.
